HawkID

Your HawkID is your username for accessing online services. If you are brand new to the University, your HawkID and password information will be sent to you by mail. You can also contact ITS Helpdesk to request your password after your HawkID has been assigned.

Two Step Login

Access to many university online services, such as ICON and MAUI, requires Two-Step Login. If you need to setup your Two-Step Profile from outside of the UI campus, please call the Helpdesk (319-384-4357) to request off-campus access to the Two-Step setup tool.

FERPA Training

To ensure the UI campus community complies with FERPA regulations, all UI instructors, including TAs, are required to complete the online FERPA training module and quiz at least once during their employment at the University.

ICON, or Iowa Courses Online, is the University of Iowa's learning management system powered by Canvas.

The Office of the Registrar's online application for managing course offerings and registrations. Instructors use MAUI to submit attendance reports, midterm delinquencies, final grades, and grade changes. See Attendance, Midterm and Final Grade Reporting for details.

Online management of employees' HR Information, such as FERPA training, University email account setup, payroll (direct deposit), benefits, leave and more.

University Calendars
