  • Synchronous Online Learning: What is Old is New Again May 11, 2023, 12-1 pm CT 

    Dive into a background of synchronous online learning and talk about how faculty and students have adapted to this method of teaching. This webinar will also touch on the obstacles faced by both students and faculty, as well as the solutions to overcome these barriers. 

    Can't make it? All QM Success Stories are recorded and available to subscribers after the session in the Reference Library located in MyQM approximately two weeks after the session.
     

  • Guide to Digital Accessibility – May 18, 2023, 12-1 pm CT 
    This research webinar will showcase highlights from the newly published book "Guide to Digital Accessibility: Policies, Practices, and Professional Development." The book features case studies of digital accessibility implementation at different post-secondary institutions. Gain valuable insights and techniques into enhancing online learning accessibility in your own courses. 


  •  AI in Higher Ed: Opportunities and Threats – May 23, 2023, 1-2pm CT
    Join this
    panel discussion to hear how AI tools like ChatGPT and Bard will affect higher education's digital, blended, and online learning. Concerns about academic honesty and the potential usefulness of AI as a pedagogical tool will be explored. Bring along any questions you would like to discuss during the session.

  • Improving Your Online Course May 26, 2023 June 8, 2023 (FridayThursday) 

    This two-week workshop is designed to assist you in enhancing the quality of your online courses. The course content concentrates on the essential Specific Review Standards of the Quality Matters Rubric, which participants will use to evaluate their own online courses and generate a course improvement plan. Participation in the workshop necessitates a preexisting online course, and attendees will leave the course with a clear strategy to advance their course quality.
