- Augmented and Virtual Reality in Higher Ed – October 28, 2023 – November 3, 2023 (Saturday – Friday)
In educational settings, both Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) have been increasingly utilized to captivate and engage learners. This workshop will explore effective strategies, recommendations, and experiences for integrating AR/VR materials into higher education courses. Participants will also have the chance to experiment with and assess cost-effective or no-cost tools and applications that enable the viewing of AR/VR content on mobile devices or through Google Cardboard, Oculus, or HTC Vive headsets, often requiring minimal to no programming skills.
