  • Trauma-Informed Pedagogy to Support Student Success – November 6, 2023 – November 12, 2023 (Monday – Sunday)

    This week-long workshop aims to equip educators with the knowledge and skills to establish a secure, supportive, and inclusive learning environment. Participants will delve into the fundamental principles of trauma-informed pedagogy, recognize signs of trauma in students and understand its potential impact on behavior. Through interactive discussions and strategic planning, educators will discover practical approaches to adapt their teaching methods, classroom management, and communication to cater to the distinctive needs of students affected by trauma.
     

  • Creating Course Alignment Maps (CCM) – November 17, 2023
    Alignment emphasizes how key elements of a course work together to ensure learners attain their intended learning objectives. In this workshop, you'll delve into the idea of alignment and its components using the Specific Review Standards found in the QM Higher Education Rubric. You'll also construct an alignment map for your own course, to help identify and enhance alignment gaps.
