Explore the guides and learn how to make a proctored exam request.
Key components
A clear understanding of the key components of the Proctored Exams Portal (PEP) makes adding a new proctored exam request a smooth process.
Know your delivery mode in MAUI
Delivery mode in MAUI identifies how a section is taught. In-person sections receive basic exam support. Online and hybrid sections are eligible for full exam support including access to our virtual proctor, Honorlock.
Know your exam audience
Know your exam audience (individual vs. all students). Exam audience will determine which students can schedule for the exam.
Select an appropriate exam window
The exam window is the period of time when students can schedule. Extended time accommodations will be added automatically when a student is assigned to the proctored exam request.
Selecting a quick start guide
Descriptions of the most common types of proctored exam requests are found below. Read the description to determine which scenario best suits your needs. Then, click the Learn More button to open a page with step-by-step directions for adding your exam details to the portal.
