Add a proctored exam request for every student in your section.

What you need to know

Only sections with full exam support will have proctored exams that all students enrolled in the course will take. When you make the proctored exam request(s) in the portal, you will set the exam audience to "All Students." As a reminder, full exam support means:

  • access to Iowa City test centers and live proctors.
  • access to the virtual proctoring platform, Honorlock.
  • assistance with ICON exam build and security settings.
  • assistance with exam accommodations, including re-formatting online exams.
  • technical support for faculty and students before, during and after the exam.
  • exam integrity review of recorded exam sessions.
  • proctoring for an entire section.
  • available for sections with an online delivery mode only.

Once you have submitted all exam details and the request is reviewed by DOE Exam Services staff, students in the section can begin to schedule for the upcoming exam.

Keep in mind that if the "All Students" option is not available in the portal, then this means your section is not eligible for full exam support. Due to staffing limitations, full exam support is only available for sections with the online delivery mode in MAUI. In-person sections are not typically eligible to request this support. However, there are some exceptions. Contact Laura Sinn to find out if your section would be considered an exception.
